Illuminating Futures Gala

I served as the Brand Designer for the Massey Center’s 2nd Annual “Illuminating Futures” Gala, developing a visual identity that felt polished, modern, and celebratory. Starting from the event theme, I built a graphic system around bold typography, a black and gold palette, and a geometric border pattern that nods to classic gala decor. I designed the primary wordmark lockup for “Illuminating Futures Gala” and applied it across print and digital invitations, social media graphics, event signage, and small-format pieces like drink cards and thank you notes. To soften the strong type and dark backgrounds, I introduced a light gradient backdrop and natural foliage accents for testimonial and recap slides. The result is a cohesive set of materials that highlights entrepreneurial excellence and student-driven innovation while giving the gala a clear, recognizable visual presence year over year.
