Problem

"Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and the Future"

The Massey Center required a compelling visual identity for its 3rd Annual Illuminating Futures Gala. The challenge was to move away from traditional, "stuffy" gala aesthetics and instead create a brand that reflected the Center's core mission: innovation, entrepreneurship, and the future. The design needed to command attention in both physical and digital spaces while maintaining a sense of prestige and urgency for the April 25th deadline.

Solution

I developed a cohesive multi-channel promotional suite designed to drive RSVPs and build anticipation:

  • High-Impact Print: Large-format posters and flyers featuring a balanced layout that directs the eye from the event title straight to the call-to-action (QR code).

  • Environmental Graphics: Digital billboard mockups designed for high-traffic areas, utilizing "glow" effects to ensure readability and visual pop in low-light environments.

  • Social Media Kit: A "Torn Paper" Instagram concept that blends organic textures with the digital-first aesthetic, creating a tactile, "save-the-date" feel that stands out in a crowded social feed.

  • Seamless UX: Integrated QR codes across all assets to bridge the gap between physical discovery and digital registration, streamlining the user journey for potential attendees.

Concept

Digital Radiance

The final visual system provided a sophisticated, tech-forward identity that elevated the event's professional profile. The consistent use of the "Digital Radiance" motif across print, digital, and social platforms created a unified brand experience that resonated with student entrepreneurs, faculty, and stakeholders alike.
